Nirvana is back anchored in Hiva Oa to drop Shala and Scott off to catch their flights out back to the real world. How sad!
Last week we circumnavigated the island of Tahuata. Now we are heading back there to the beautiful sandy beaches and coral reef. Lots of gorgeous fish to see while snorkeling. After a few days we will sail to Oa Pou, about 60 nm away. Then later in the week head to Nuka Hiva. Will upload pictures when we have better internet.

ReplyDeleteI didn't know that Nirvana was the first boat built specifically for the Sydney to Hobart race. I mean I knew that she was built for that race, I just did not know she was the first one to be built for that race. Did the race start around the time she was built? She has such a rich and exciting history, and continues to make more rich and exciting history. I do hope you are enjoying your new "condo on the water", as we used to refer to her. She is certainly tough! I am so very happy for you guys!
